This is why I don't talk much

I carry a little black diary notebook in my back pocket everywhere I go. I use this notebook to keep track of appointments, taking names and occasionally to write down profound thoughts that strike me at odd moments. This, then, is my top 5 of those profound thoughts for 2004:

5: "If you think someone is boring, you don't know them well enough". This is probably just a reaction to me thinking I am boring.

4: "You can't dance and worry at the same time". True enough, eh?

3: "Every minute of every day we leave behind the person we once were. Change is not just inevitable - it is essential. Without change there is no growth. Without growth we cannot adapt. If we cannot adapt we spend more time trying to change our environment. Eventually all of our time is taken and we have none left to live in. The world will change whether you want it to or not. As long as you live here, you will have to make peace with change." This entry is notable because of its sheer length. It took a whole week's worth of pages to write down.

2: "I've learned that a baby's smile is the most infectious smile in the world". Everyone smiles when a baby does.

1: "Kung-fu Zombie Movie", referring to a half-baked idea about combining the two best movie genres of all time.

Mokalus of Borg

PS - There are many, many others.
PPS - Some of them belong on t-shirts.
