There is a limit to the speed of fashion based on the production chain. You can't wear something faster than it can be designed, produced, shipped and purchased. To break that barrier, you need something that can be designed and built right where you are, no matter where that is. I have trouble imagining such a system, but I expect fashion will become much more confusing if they ever break that speed barrier.

PS - There's also a certain crowd momentum, filtering for design quality.
PPS - That's why most things never appear off fashion show catwalks.

Just have Deb make your clothes, the fashion you select or design. Should cut the time significantly. With some practice a shirt would only take a couple of hours. Pants a full day,and jackets about the same depending on the complexity of your imagination.
That's definitely one way. With the internet communicating the latest in high fashion, home-made copies may become more common as time goes on. Either people will make them by hand or automatic sewing machines will do it for them.
