Friday Zombie Blogging - Attacks on Ancient Egypt

Archaeology.org has an article suggesting evidence of zombie attacks in ancient Egypt. Of course it's all tongue-in-cheek stuff, but amusing nonetheless. The evidence hinges around tombs found with beheaded bodies.

PS - Because nobody as weird as the Egyptians could have beheaded someone for no reason.
PPS - And the reason had to be to prevent the spread of zombies.

Random Observation #4: In movies, we're capable of thwarting alien invasions, yet we always get beaten by every slow-moving zombie invasion. Judging from this latest evidence, it would suggest the opposite is true.

The key to thwarting an alien invasion is to figure out their plan, then get Jeff Goldblum to write an improbable computer virus that saves the day.

Several aspects of this plan do not apply to zombie invasions, hence scriptwriters' apparent inability to write a successful ending for the living.

What we need is a zombie movie set in ancient Egypt where the good guys win. You know, I think I'd watch that.
