Men are not typically known for their love of "craft" activities. For some men, this is because they would rather destroy than create, but for others it is because men favour different crafts. A man will build a sturdy computer desk rather than a pretty cross-stitch to display above it. A man build a retaining wall with nothing but a shovel and his bare hands rather than painting a landscape.

PPS - And "skill" can mean "practice" rather than "talent".
