I think it would be interesting to create a database of Latin root words and have a program combine them randomly, creating new words with their definitions. Some interesting stuff would probably come out, but I bet there would also be a lot of nonsense, like "optogenesis: the creation of new eyes" and "sauroitis: inflammation of the lizard".
